Tammy started attending Whittington Church the beginning of 2013, and was hired as part-time Social Media and Small Group Director in November 2013, then hired full-time in 2015. She manages all social media, YouTube channel, church website & app and oversees all communication and broadcasts.

Tammy is married to Chris (since 1987) and has 2 married sons: Justin, wife Kelsey and grandsons, Maverick, Bodhi & Wesley and Dakota, wife Kenise and granddaughters Karsyn, Kollyns and Kinsley. Outside of Whittington, she works as an Accounting, Business & Marketing Consultant. She loves living in the country and all that comes with it, including her newfound love for raising chickens. 

Tammy says, “I love working at Whittington Church! I get to ‘market’ the gospel! I see my job as using technology to fulfill the Great Commission. I am blessed to be a part of a church that is so progressive!”

You may not know that Tammy has a variety of skills acquired over the years, things she was required to learn as the mother of her boys. She is knowledgeable about baseball including how to calculate statistics like ERA and Whip, and she is an accomplished goat midwife. She also enjoys hunting, gardening, hatching chicks and cooking/baking for her family.
