Gavin and Michaela have been in the leadership role with the youth at Whittington since August 2018. They have been married since June of 2016 and have 2 daughters, Norah and Janie. They also have a puppy named Murray.
Gavin grew up in Ewing and attended Benton High School. He then went on to Murray State University where he met Michaela! He is now bi-vocational being the youth pastor as well as the engineering teacher at Benton High School. Gavin enjoys being with family, woodworking and building LEGOs. A lot of LEGOs.
Michaela grew up in Owensboro, Kentucky. She obtained a degree in social work, but currently runs an art business while being a stay-at-home mom. She enjoys being with her girls, playing piano on the worship team, and saying “all y’all.”
Both Gavin and Michaela have a heart for working with students and seek to reach them well with the gospel!
