Serenity Prayer

God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,
enjoying one moment at a time;
accepting hardship as a pathway to peace;
taking, as Jesus did,
this sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it;
trusting that You will make all things right
if I surrender to Your will;
so that I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with You forever in the next.

Amen

Terry & Nicole Rechsteiner describe CR

  • "Since moving back to Benton we searched a little for a church to call home, but never found anything that seemed to be a good fit for us. Our son attended the youth night for several months, and we decided that we should start going on Sundays as well. We stayed because the people instantly made us feel welcome, like family. The teachings are wonderful and I am able to take them with me to apply in my every day life. The church is socially active and there is always something to get involved in, so this little family is not a "Sunday only" affair. I believe I am at the church for one reason or another 4 days a week! It is truly a second home to us. " -Effaney Crain

  • "I came because a friend invited me and I heard such great things about the church. I stayed because The Word of God is preached, The Holy Spirit is present, and the people are so friendly." -Teresa Bowman

  • " We came because we had heard great things! It was also a church closer to us that we knew we would be able to get involved in. We like that there are so many young couples! The Word of God is preached, God's spirit is present, and the people are very friendly!  - Ali Whittington
