Bob's primary job is being a husband to Candy, which he has done since 1996.  He also enjoys being a dad to Ben, Blane and Cali as well as an owner to Spot the cat and Ace the dog. 

Bob grew up in Benton and graduated from Benton High School before attending Southern Illinois University in Carbondale where he graduated with two Bachelor's Degrees (Animal Science and Secondary Education). 

In addition to his ministry at Whittington, Bob is the Regional Director of Field Ministry for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He serves on several local boards and committees including Benton Grade School District 47 school board.  In addition to all of this, he tries to find time to hunt, fish, write, read and play his guitar.

You may not know that before becoming a pastor, Bob managed a huge pig farm with over 1000 sows!  He says raising pigs and pastoring people are similar in a lot of ways!!
