Becky joined the Whittington Church staff in June 2008 after having taught 4th grade for seven years in Carbondale. She has her Bachelors and Masters from SIU in Curriculum and Instruction in Education. She aslo has an EdS (Education Specialist) degree in teacher leadership.
In 2015, she joined the staff at Ewing Grade School as the Science Teacher for 5th - 8th grades and Social Studies Teacher for 5th - 6th grades, and has since moved to Middle School English/Writing Teacher. She enjoys taking Women’s Self Defense, but has put that on hold and embraced a role as "Team Mom."
She married Kevin in May 1999 and has two boys: Kaden and Kolten. She also has a stepson, Andrew. She loves being a mommy!
You might not realize that Becky feeds crickets to her youth group on an annual basis as part of the Fear Factor experience.
