8:15am - Rotations Start (Playroom, Craft Room, Bible Exploration, Discovery Zone)
9:00am - Bathroom Break
9:10-9:40am - Everyone has Music/Lesson in the Blue Room
9:40am - Dismiss to Sunday School (If your child isn't staying for Sunday School, they will be dismissed from their classroom. This is for the safety of our children.)

We offer Sunday School Classes for all ages of children from 9:45-10:30am.
10:45am Service
10:30am - Everyone in the Blue Room

We offer Sunday School Classes for 3 years old-6th grade from 9:45-10:30am. During this time, we work to teach Biblical principles to our kids on a more age appropriate level.
When adults are in morning worship service, we offer Children’s Church for kids 3 years old-3rd Grade. This runs from 8:15am-9:30pm for the first service, and 10:45am-Noon for the second service. We use this time to minister to our kids through various methods.

Kids in grades K - 6th Grade are invited to our Wednesday Night Youth Activities at 6:30pm each week. Kids get a lesson, activities and recreation. Meet us in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30pm!

On Sundays, we provide a Sensory Room with a certified special needs teacher for kids who may benefit from this option.
Our Purpose: To create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive church environment where individuals with special needs and their families can experience God’s love, grow spiritually, and actively participate in the life of the church.
Ask at the Children's Church Welcome Center for more information.
First Time @ Whittington Church?
Stop by the Children's Church Welcome Center so we can:
- Walk you through the check-in process
- Answer any questions you may have
Important Information:
- Kids are dropped off and picked up by a parent, guardian, or someone designated by the parent.
- You can use the Self-check Kiosk in the hallway after we get you entered in our system.
- If your child needs you during the service, we will text you so keep your phone close.
- Children's Church is available for children age 3 (and potty trained) to just completed 3rd grade.
- Our Nursery is available for children under the age of 3. The check in procedure is the same as for Children's Church.
Wellness Policy
Red Light - Try Again Next Week:
- Fever of 101 degrees or higher
- Wheezing or shortness of breath
- Hard cough
- Constant runny nose with yellow/green tint
- Lethargy
- Diarrhea or vomiting
- Redness or runny eyes
- Sore throat or swollen glands
- Undiagnosed rashes
- Persistent itching
- Uncovered sores
- Unusual color
Yellow Light - Join us if parents can check-in a few times:
- Fever free for 24 hours
- Sporadic cough
- Minimal green/yellow runny nose
Green Light - Okay to come in a play:
- Infrequent cough
- Clear runny nose
- Active, playful and rested
If there is any question as to the health of your child, we ask that parents err on the side of caution in order to protect the health of other children in our ministries.
